David Charles Wright out for a ride on my local beach in Almeria Spain

David was born in Brighton, England in February 28th 1962 and moved to Spain 19years ago and after 17 years of marriage and 3 years after moving to Spain David divorced and started a new life in Almeria on the south coast of Spain his own.

After a few years David met and married Llani a Spanish girl

After improving his Spanish David worked for both English and Spanish clients as well as several other nationalities in Spain building and renovating properties all over Spain.

Originally trained as a cabinet maker, David worked in the building industry as a carpenter in Brighton and later as maintenance manager on Brighton Pier for several year, a job he loved all except the bad weather.

A long with David’s carpentry jobs, David run 2 karate clubs after gaining his black belt and for 2 years was a full time karate instructor in Brighton and self-defence teacher managing 2 local clubs of his own.

Paragliding was his passion and he gained pilot rating and continued paraglide in Spain for the first few years, enjoying better flying conditions then he had experienced in the UK.

Travel is also David’s passion and he has travelled extensively all over Europe and America but his dream holiday was just a few years ago when he had 3 weeks in Bora Bora, staying in a high end over water bungalow costing 900 dollars a night in the middle of the south pacific.

Being now married to a Spanish wife David has travelled all over Spain using his wife as a personal guide, enjoying most of the top cities and towns in Spain. Although English David now feels his sole is Spanish.

Seeing many people fail or give up on their dreams, David now tries to help and encourage others by sharing his tips, help and advice through his online sites and books.

David has not let his dyslexia hold him back from writing 4 books or running his blog and although criticised on his spelling, feels it more important to get the information out there even though he does try to get it right with the help of siri or auto correct.

David’s long term plans are to just potter about on his new house whether it is in his garden or allotment he has created or relaxing in his personal gym or private pool.

Most of his friends are now Spanish and David enjoys nothing better than entertaining these friends at his new dream house in Spain. Most weekends David and friends can be found enjoying a cold beer in the pool or just sitting on his terrace chatting over tapas.

The information was not readily available to David when he made his move to Spain and for this reason David has created his sites on social media and these books to not only provide first-hand information but encouragement to those who really want a better way of life.
