Spanish classes for children and adults
Since 2019 we have been teaching Castilian Spanish to local expats that have chosen to call Spain their new home. Many of our clients haven’t been in a classroom for many years, yet alone studied a language so it can be very hard for them to do so now! We understand this and so over time our Spanish course has evolved to suit both seasoned learners and new ones. We offer two main types of course, available face to face or online from our education centre in Oliva. The first course in a fully comprehensive one that includes several different teaching methodologies all designed to help each student find their perfect learning strategy. Learners like to learn in different ways and so from the outset we aim to find each student’s particular likes and dislikes and help them to piece together a ‘plan’. We use traditional text books, videos, audio, graded novels, learning diaries and much more. We also offer support and preparation for those who want to attempt diplomas such as the official DELE exams. Our second course is focussed on conversation only. Groups of up to four learners get together in our facility and work through a range of structured exercises that all aim to provoke conversation and speaking. We do not dwell on any grammar points or discuss any fine details but we do translate some texts including plays and books and of course have a lot of laughs at the same time! Both of these courses are backed up by an online portal where students can share information, chat and collaborate in real time on video, audio and other documents as well as participate in online classes and events. By offering these two types of courses we really feel that we are providing one of the most complete Spanish learning services available.
